Every VEKN standard constructed tournament held in Spain in a given tournament season counts towards the Spanish ranking.

Some of these tournaments are given more importance than others, which is reflected on the rating points they award to players for the Spanish ranking.

The rating points are awarded as follows:

[Log15(Number of participants) -1]*(participation bonus + Game wins bonus + Victory points bonus + final standing bonus)

Participation bonus = 5 (standard tournament), 25 (Master Series tournament), 50 (Grand Slam tournament)
Game wins bonus = Game wins x 8
Victory points bonus = Victory points x 4
Final standing bonus = 90 (winner), 30 (finalist)
