Why Mundane?

I have discovered that it is a really good card. The first part is just anti-Laibon candy and is super hosery.

Type: Master
Master.
Put this card on a Laibon with no Orun and no Mundane. Cards that require Disciplines cost this vampire 1 additional blood. Burn this card if this vampire gets an Orun. Alternatively, when a minion with no Orun plays an action card requiring a Discipline or Virtue, play this card to your ash heap as an out-of-turn master to cancel that card as it is played.

The second part is a free D.I.. If you think of all the things that you normally play D.I. (deflection, awe, voter capitvation, conditioning, Elder Impersonation) they all require a discipline. You give up the opportunity to cancel a vote or a wake, but for the most part you aren't shutting those down anyway.

I've been extolling the virtues of Mundane for a while now. Its really strong for its cost. Ok, you miss out on sniping a conditioning, but you get to bin their Govern.

I'd still just take DI and pay 1 pool to drastically increase the number of potential cards you can hit with it. Remember, from the list of 'Actions, Equipment, Allies, Retainers, Political Actions.', most of those that aren't straight Actions don't need a Discipline or Virtue.
