Its better because it also works at long range.

(and if satyr were able to play clan-only card, Raking Talon would be a rather obvious choice)
Flames of the Netherworld is only slightly worse (doesn't work under Grapple).

Hum... great ideas...
So, we can prevent damage (soak for instance)...
Gain a press or a maneuver (several cards like swiftness)
Increase damage (additional strikes, carrion crows, etc, etc).
What you think of diversion?
I can prevent if needed, give one additional or steal blood from the grinders...

Yea, if satyr could play diversion, it would be the most used card for satyr.
Diversion is my favorite anarch card though, i kinda wish some ally or another could play combat card requiring pot cel or for as an anarch vampire.
Whats the funniest/hilariously useless satyr combo?
Im thinking blood to water.

Identical, but with fortitude as well and limited to combat cards.
Prevent with allies makes them more worthwhile, more durable=less transient. A renimated corpse played at THN is 3 bleeds of 2, and maybe a block and punch with a soak(the dead hooker being played at two, Thornes cost, is what i base this on). Thorne i want to like, but he could be a veritable machine with fortitude abilities.
Little celerity means additional strike with diversion or maybe dodge. Potence is even less exciting, since any mortal or ghoul, be it muddled vampire hunter, arms dealer, or even war ghoul can play potence with putrescent servitude. And honestly, a grappling war ghoul with trap is way better than an ally that can play lam into at pot.
So yea, id love an anarch ghoul that can play fortitude. Or a risen. Ian Jackson or Gwynneth Sarbo from the wraith sourcebook risen would be decent canidates.
I think anarch allies could be fleshed out more in the future. But id also like to see some allies, like gargoyle slave, erratad to be playable. Just my 2cents.
