Well, Winthorp will be taking place of a single Corpse Baloon. For Jackie and Escort this deck I think has no use (particulary Escort, whose sole purpose is to be sacrifised if vamp is blocked). What I want is permanents that can be sacrificed if needed, but once you have two healthy War Ghouls in play, what you need is retainers (and perhaps equipment) that is truly useful. Nothing worse than a deck that makes a mess of its prey and then takes forever to capitalize on that fact.

Besides, I think i have plenty of stuff to sac for Ghouls - in addition to 4 retainers, 2 Jakes (which perhaps in the future will be more of) and not counting already (wounded) Ghouls in play and perhaps even one Mystic (since I have two of them), there are also 6 Strays in deck, that can be used for press (once) and then, if needed, they can become Ghoul food.

Yes, Ghoul escort on this kind of deck is pretty bad, especially since there is so many ghoul fodder already. Jackie Thermann have a bit of the same problem, it's pretty bad when not used as fodder.

I agree that Living manse cannot be used as fodder, but the original Dragonbound couldn't either and Living Manse tend to be a pretty great card on its own.
