Im not sure. Its better than alot of the actions and such. Ive never done a mostly tham package with mict, running either pot/for/ani has always been solid for me, if not running straight gangrel with revels, dogs, and ritual challange( not to mention backways, gather, ecoterrorists).

Id say big game, and make maybe another few cards magic of the smith, and also run black gloves ( someone else use chainsaw, him gloves, takes nothing from bith)

I second this motion. Thaumaturgy combat is something you use when you don't have Potence, Animalism, Fortitude or Celerity. Actually, even in that case I would rather take disciplineless combat. Murder of Crows or Preternatural Strength beats Biothaumaturgic Experiment. Carrion Crows beats Blood Fury. Hidden Strength/Indomitability/Unflinching Persistence beats Apportation. 90% of damage preventing cards beat Rego Motus.

In other words, Thaumaturgy is only good in this deck for Magic of the Smith. Anything else is playing Thaumaturgy for the sake of playing Thaumaturgy, which is, of course, reason enough if you're happy doing it.

Gloves is too expensive for an effect that Mic can replicate with Claws of the Dead or, even better, Disarm. Talbot's Chainsaw, on the other hand, is insane value for 3 pool.

I forgot how much the love glove costs....
But yea, i dont like to say anything too good about fortitude, because i rely on it WAY too much, but if you run prevent and press cards with manuevers from fortitude, potence, or protean, you end up with way better stuff than tham offers. Add in grapple and crows and you are set.

9 times outra 10, tham is what you use because you dont have a better card with similar effect. The only exceptions are magic of the smith, seeds of corruption and blood of sandman, and the first of those is the only good one.

Theres a perma manuever and press for protean, and a perma +1 strength for gangrel. And micty, lise, and ryder have potence (so does gwydd, byt hes a different deck...) deside on combat, then go xfrom there if u rebuild.
