Hi all!

I re-make this deck, saw it first played by Jordi Albiol at the Spanish National Championship 2016.

I have been testing it, but somehow the proportion between the cards don't seem to be right, suddenly all the stealth comes together or I find my hand full of mental maze or without any.

The deck intent to oust by don't letting my prey play or win pool, and kill him with Smiling Jack and Army of rats and a few bleeds with Night Moves.

The deck try to survive by stopping everything that comes at you and that will affect you with the Bowl, Mr.Winthrop, the sport bike and the radio and a few intercept cards. Also the eternal of Sirius help you win a little bit of pool, as does the rack+vessel.

The deck is based on Seterpenre, then Bupe who uses Sanguine Instruction on Seterpenre to make him 11-12-13 generation, as much as it's needed to be the oldest vampire on the table and be able to play the mental maze. If the table will rule in my favour, I will like to have a third vampire.

During the regular turn, mainly I equip and if needed transfer the equipment to Seterpenre and do some bleed, and then block prey and predator from playing.

Looks like a mess.

0) You do not play a single majesty? When your goal is to stay untapped? Your deck needs majesty, so you can block with eyes of argus and untap, then block with mental maze.

1) Seterpenre special doesnt give you the extra capacity

Seterpenre
[AUS][NEC][OBF][ PRE ][SER]
[Follower of Set] Follower of Set
Capacity: 10
Group: 5
Independent: When Seterpenre enters play, put up to four master: Discipline cards on him from your hand, ash heap and/or library (shuffle afterward). Discipline cards do not affect his capacity.


2) Eternals of sirius will work only on Seterpenre. Is it a worthwile inclusion?

3) To really use mental maze to it's full effect you need to be untapped.

Mental Maze
[Reaction] Reaction
[Obfuscate] Obfuscate
[1 Blood]
Only usable when this vampire successfully blocks an ally or a younger vampire (play before combat, if any).
[obf] End the action (with no combat). If this blocking minion is a Follower of Set, this card costs 1 less blood.
[OBF] As above, and do not tap this blocking vampire.


Which, since you have so many Actions (14+1+5+3 = 23!), your seterpenre will never be untapped.
Your allies should be Saatet-Ta and Mylan Horseed.

4) You attempt to use auspex in a crypt with no auspex. Partially through sanguine instruction. You could do this much better with some anarch tech:

+1 stealth action. Requires an anarch.
Put this card on another ready, non-titled vampire you control, choose a Discipline the acting vampire has at superior and untap the acting vampire. The vampire with this card is considered anarch (and Independent), and gets +1 level of the chosen Discipline. If this vampire changes sect, burn this card. A vampire can have only one Field Training.

Powerbase: Los Angeles
Master
Master: unique location.
Tap during your discard phase to gain a discard phase action. If you use that discard phase action to discard a card that requires an anarch or a card that makes a vampire an anarch, you may untap a ready anarch. Any anarch controlled by another Methuselah may steal this location for his or her controller as a (D) action.

Protection Racket
[Reaction] Reaction
Requires an anarch.
+1 intercept, with an additional +1 intercept if the acting vampire is titled.


5) You didnt use Nakhtorheb. Try building this type of deck with Nakthorheb so you can always guarantee you are untapped. Use anarch tech to untap even more. Recruit Mr. Whintrop -> Untap -> Field Training -> Untap -> Raven Spy. Discard an anarch card -> Untap. Play enkil cog to secure the edge (and 1 pool) for you every turn. Play more Eluding the arms of morpheus to untap even more. Play 2 Animalism masters and sense the savage way instead of Eyes of Argus, since it untaps you.

I try to stay untapped and then play Mental Maze that at superior doesn't tap you.

I know, that is why I play Sanguine Instruction. The animalism is for playing army of rats and raven spy.

Good question, will give it a thought, but I dont find other +8 capacity vampires that I like.

You are right, will add a Mylan and try to reduce the actions, maybe chainging some intercept retainer/equipment for some intercept master.

Seterpenre has Auspex and he is the main vampire. If I have to turn into anarch it will cost me an action or to change the cript and play anarch convert.
