Visit the world's 2nd largest VTES tournament in its traditional venue while you still have the chance!
Dipoli Congress Centre has been sold and the new owners will renovate it for the next couple of years. Also because of this the convention will take place already in May.
It is altoghter possible that this will be the last Ropecon in this lovely venue with it s unique non-Euclidean geometry -so if you haven't participated in Ropecon previously we urge you to do so now!
Ropecon's entrance fee in 2014 was 28€ for the weekend or 18€ per day. No separate fee for the tournament.
Ropecon also offers free accommodation for those who want; just bring your own sleeping bag etc.
For more refined tastes, Radisson Blu Hotel Espoo is just next to the venue.
(It is highly unlikely that I'll be able to offer 5th Tradition due to new 3rd Tradition...)
Ropecon is probably the biggest independent (non-GW/-WotC) gaming convention in Europe with its 4000 attendees. Plenty of gaming, presentations and other activities going on during the whole weekend.
The convention doesn't yet have proper final site for this year, but some info can already be garnered for the Ropecon pages:

Last year's site does have plenty of info and most likely the info will stay the same for this year too:

Now the event also has it's own FB event.
Sent invitations to hopefully most, if not all my VTES FB friends but unfortunately the interface isn't the best possible one. SO if you didn't receive an invitation and we're friends it certainly wasn't intentional and I apologize.
