Someone with better Spanish will probably post a better abridged version, but until then here's a rough outline.

Seems like expected participation was pretty low and the corresponding costs were very high, incurring in high expenses for the organization.

Resentment regarding prices seems to have surfaced, leading to price drops (seemingly not enough). Demands for a "more modest event" and explanation that such an event probably wasn't possible at a much lower price.

They then go on to express how sorry they are that it didn't come to be, how they dislike the distrust and resentment created in the community and then thank the help they were given.
