Dear all,
The Portugal National Championship 2019 will be held on 1-2 November in Lisbon. We'll be holding a 'warm-up' event on Friday and the NC competition will be on Saturday, November 2nd. Registration price and location is still TBD, I'll update as more details are set.

Last year the attendance was measly 13 which is way less than 2017's 22.
Any idea why?
(trying to sell the prize support to UP so need to fast talk to bypass low attendance of 2018...)

I live in Spain. If I can take a vacation, I will try to go. But it is still a distant event in time. And I will try to convince more people.

We had several players from Spain in 2017, none in 2018. That and a few of our regular players were unable to attend due to personal/work reasons last year.
This year the event is held on a long weekend (Friday 1/11 is a holiday in Portugal and Spain), that should make it a bit easier for everyone to avoid scheduling issues.
