To warm up for the Belgian Nationals taking place the following day and make it into a full festive V:TES weekend, I am pleased to officially announce the

*** Belgian Limited National Championship 2025 ***

Date: Saturday, July 19th, 2025
Registration: pre-registration mandatory before the day of the event
Booster draft starting time: 10:30
Expected first round starting time: 13:00
Expected finishing time: 22:30

Type of Event: Limited National Championship (booster draft) (see the limited tournament rules ). See the post below for information on draft material.

Number of rounds: 3 + final
Time limit per round: 2 hours

Drinks and snacks are available on site. Other catering options will be explored based on the number of pre-registered participants.
Drinks from outside are not allowed at the venue. A bar is available for drinks and snacks.

Pre-registration is mandatory to make sure that sufficient cards are available for drafting and to allow for a timely start of the tournament as soon as the shop opens. If you intend to participate, please sign up as soon as possible by replying to this thread..

*** How to reach ***

By public transport: Spelfanaat is situated at 20 minutes walking from train station "Mechelen Nekkerspoel"
If you arrive from Paris/London/Berlin... you will end up at Brussels South Station (Gare du Midi), where most trains going towards Antwerp will stop at Nekkerspoel. Coming from the Netherlands, most trains from Antwerp to Brussels will stop at Nekkerspoel.

By car: there is free parking in the area.

THE DETAILS OF THE DRAFT

Overview
This year's draft theme is the relentless war waging between historical and newly joining Camarilla clans... with a "touch" of interference from certain independents and their unsettling allies

Product
Each player will receive an assortment of 5 packs to be drafted:

• 2x Jyhad booster packs (19 cards each)
• 3x "Touch of Oblivion" home-made draft packs (11 cards each) - see below

Minimum crypt/library
Minimum crypt 6, minimum library 30, one recursion*.
* Recursion: a player can use a discard phase action to shuffle all the library cards in his or her ash heap back into his or her library. This can be done whether or not there are any cards left in the player's library or hand.


"Touch of Oblivion" draft packs explained

"Touch of Oblivion" draft packs are randomized booster packs built from the following product:

• Three V5 starter decks: 1x Hecata , 1x Lasombra , 1x Nosferatu
  
• Three New Blood decks: 1x Banu Haqim , 1x Hecata , 1x Lasombra
  
• Three First Blood decks (French version): 1x Nosferatu , 1x Toreador , 1x Tremere
• The 40 crypt cards from The Fall of London
• Two copies each of the five crypt cards from Shadows of Berlin
• Three copies each of six promo crypt cards (Bolesław Gutowski, Fiorenza Savona, Karl Schrekt, Maila, Okulos, Victoria Ash)
• Three copies of the Belgian Bum's Rush and one copy of Lasombra Justicar

(18 July update detailed: +1 First Blood Nosferatu deck, +10 Shadows of Berlin crypt cards, +1 Lasombra Justicar)

Each of the 60 resulting 11-card draft packs contains 2 or 3 crypt cards and 9 or 8 library cards. No booster can contain more than one copy of the same card.
