Tournaments in Joensuu, Finland: Autumn 2011

Hi!

There are going to be VtES tournaments in Joensuu, Finland, every month for the rest of the year. Every tournament is scheduled on the last Saturday of the month (except in November and December), and are held in Karsikon Nuorisotalo, roughly 20 minute walk out of town from the train station. We start at noon. Admission fee is 2 or 3 euro, and is used to provide booster prizes.

Three players showed up at Wake With Evening's Freshness today, so no tournament. Then again, the day was pretty poor for gaming: two of our tournament regulars get married today, most of the gaming group were invited, there was a pretty big RPG group meet today for the first time this semester and many of our beginners were obliged to be there, and so on.

We had a wee bit of a problem with our place, and had to move across town. This is why we had only 2R+F instead of 3R. Too bad, but stuff happens. Mostly my fault, to be honest, since I didn't inform them of our coming, but then again there has never been any problems before.

It was a success, however, even despite the problems. 14 people, and the first tournament in Joensuu in about a year. Next one in a month! I'll be posting a Tournament report in the proper area.

A place was found for Domain of Evernight! Finally! \o/

So, Domain of Evernight, 28.10.2011 in Joensuu, Finland, at university, Agora building. Start time 16:00 (first round at 16:30), 2R+F. Finals in any place and time decided by the finalists (probably at my place afterwards). Entry fee 2e.

Just a remainder for those who might consider coming to our tournament this month, from Kuopio or Jyväskylä for example!

Rumour of Gehenna is being held 19.11., on Saturday in Joensuu. 2e, 3R+F. We start at noon, and the final should begin around 8 o'clock, or a tad sooner. We have taken into account a lunch break and stuff like that. For those who will need accommodation for the night, it's possible to find some floor space from our players.
