THE FINALS
Norbert started aggressively with his Servitor swarm, repeatedly bleeding for 2 or 3 with cards like Computer Hacking and Leverage. Erica quickly found herself in the danger zone, while the rest of the table concentrated on building their positions. Lech was bringing out childes and Barons, Ilya was developing his Salubri, and Igor quietly started assembling his army of Drones.
Norbert managed to secure the first VP, but his aggression came at a price. Influencing additional vampires and maintaining his Servitors steadily consumed his pool. Ilya, now the only player remaining crosstable from Igor, also rushed backwards and further weakened Norbert.
With all three remaining players except Igor dangerously low on pool, Igor continued to play patiently. He brought Norbert down to just 2 pool, leaving him able to maintain only a single Servitor. That Servitor made one final attempt to oust its prey, but the bleed was redirected into Lech instead, putting him into a critical position.
Ilya then ousted Lech, while Igor finished Norbert on his own turn. Suddenly the five player final had become a heads up between Igor and Ilya, with Igor commanding the larger army. A well timed Pentex Subversion on Barachiel helped seal the game, and Igor completed the final with a GW and 3 VP
