TWD and Report - Walk Through Arcadia: Newark 2/22/11 was created by Bell
We had 18 players show for the tournament, final table was John Bell (Dementation/Suddens) > Brad Cashdollar (Big Nos/Big Dom) > Bob Little (Imbued Wall/Lockdown) > James Messer (Auspex Anarchs) > David Baker (!Tor Palla Grande/Vote). As previously discussed, this was the final table where a misplayed card resulted in a player being ousted. Brad had already been ousted which left the game with less than 10 minutes left with 4 methuselah's remaining. There was a Smiling Jack with 3 on it and Anarch Revolt in play. A turn went by without much change in game state other than Bake burning Jack and James allowing it. It was crunch time for everyone. This is not to excuse the rules infraction, but it was, I truly believe a misplay. James seemed genuinely upset that he'd done it and I know Bake was as well. It's a guess on my part, but I'm sure that the reason no one at the table caught the infraction was honestly shock. Bake had untapped minions to block, even used an On the Qui Vive with his Embrace, considered blocking and chose not to do so. James then played a card that quite honestly doesn't see a whole lot of play in the first place. The only reason I later caught that Victoria was not an anarch was trying to see how many vamps of James would have to go to torpor for him to want to be rid of the Anarch Revolt. When I realized he only had 2 anarchs and Victoria was not one of them, I brought up the problem. After debating on how to rectify the situation for around 20 minutes, we resumed play with around 8 minutes official time without much further change in game state.
Deck Name : Sudden Reversal Monstrosity
Author : John Bell
Description :
Probably one of more vicious and aggressive decks I have built. The idea is denying opponents key resources in the form of their Masters. The obvious choices are prey's pool gain and predator's offensive cards, but it becomes more difficult to decide what permanents to allow in play across table. The stealth-bleed module works quite well without a single master, but the deck funcitons under the assumption that many decks are crippled without their master phases. The deck physically can not bleed for greater than 3, which means I have no worries for Archon Investigation and bounce isn't as crippling as when a bleed of 6 is redirected. The pool generation in the deck mostly comes from Kindred Spirits, ousting my prey, or The Call in a pinch.

Given the quantity of high-capacity decks nowadays that utterly rely on Villein simply to exist, I can see how this might be a winner. Cool deck, congrats.

I'm a total fan of redon-kulus decks like this one. Focused like a lazer beam.
Congrats on winning with it.

Thanks for posting this John, I've been a bit crazy the past few days and haven't had the chance.
If someone could let me know what I need to do to report the VPs and such, if we are even keeping track of that now, let me know and I will do so.
