Congratulations on the win Lönkka!
Do I see a touch of C&E in this deck?

It is exactly the deck you guys retooled from my old Riff Raff deck so the credit goes to you guys
vekn.net/index.php/forum/7-deck-clinic/18116-riff-raff-from-cause-a-effect-8s-deck-clinic
Since Warsaw I basically haven't had almost any time to play VTES and I've been wanting to give the new version of the deck a try. So the night before the tournament I hastily put it together and decided to give it a good ol' college try in a tournament.
Due to the overhaul you guys did to the deck it felt only remotely the same deck as before, especially when putting it together. Because of that I was thinking about commenting on it after the tournament and calling it Riff Raff SS (Svenska Skrep) but the credibility of that kinda dissapeared with the tournament win...
Two first rounds didn't go that well as the cardflow wasn't optimal. Especially as in one game I was hanging on to several wakes and bounces for too long a time because of Jari's untappy Rachel/Malkavian Network deck being my predator.
On third round the card flow was brutally efficient and on the finals not bad either. As I had Timo's wall deck as my prey it was kinda nifty to get Monocle out relatively early and get negative answers to questions like "if I bleed this turn are you able to either muster more intercept than 2 or change the target of the bleed?" and then go foraward with Govern + Conditioning.
But brothers ans sisters, take not that the end of time is surely upon us like ancient Mayans predicted! How on earth can you otherwise explain the fact that crappy players like me are finally able to score a tournament win? Gehenna. I say, Gehenna is surely upon us!

Oh my, I didn't acctually compare lists I were just like. I reconginze this... Maybe I'll mention this in the next episode, living (or maybe undead) proof that C&E deck clinics are effective.
Well this simply can't be true. Since you won and being crappy and winning don't make sense. I see that you rock (or rather punkrock)!
Anyways, congratualtions!

And some pics Tom was kind enough to take during the finals:
Clockwise from left: Janne, father & son Timo and Anssi, Jarkko and Jari.
Timo's Carlton is just about to be Far Mastered.
Playing VTES doesn't have to be dead serious...
...and you can have a good laugh while you're at it.
Overview of the table.
Didn't use my normal edge (the well endowed Egyptian fertility god) but instead a Bizarro miniature from Heroclix as it kinda themetically agreed with the Bizarro t-shirt I made the previous evening. Perhaps the old phrase "Bizarro #1" was an omen?
Jarkko watches with his Warghouls as Jari's Greger prepares to act.
Da winner is once bitten...
