Aye Of Hazimel - Los Angeles 2/19/2012 was created by Robert Scythe
Mike C. has been pretty busy lately and has all the information on the Tournaments that weekend but I've started this post to give the last one some closure. I was terribly ill that weekend and was under the influence of tons of medication and alcohol (uhh, that is more medication) and was surprised to have been in all 4 finals, let alone win one. This was not the one. My cloudy memory reveals to me a threeway in this final between Aaron Clark, myself and Robert Goudie. Cannot recall the other 2 combatants names but did remember that 13 Meths started this off. Aaron won and should chime in soon with his decklist, Mike can give the hard stats at his leisure.

I don't use deckbuilding programs, and I'm neither sophisticated enough to generate the nice formatting nor motivated enough to learn how at this time.
The final table was:
Aaron Clark (Obf/Dom toolbox) 1.5
Robert Goudie (Ventrue powerbleed and multiact) 1.5
Robert Scythe (Anarch Followers of Set w/Temptation and Votes) 0.5
Shane Taylor (ANI/dom wall/bleed) 0
Edward McGlynn (Agent Iliana) 0
I won since I was a higher seed than Robert G. It was close between the Roberts and me, so I feel lucky to have made my first tournament win.
It seems this is the first TWD to use Vanish from the Mind's Eye, if people keep track of these things.

It's a little fuzzy, but here's my best recollection.
Game 1:
- My predator's Parthenon the turn after he played it. I just don't think that it's right for another player to get more MPA's than me
- My prey's Church of the Vindicated Faith (maybe).
Game 2:
- My prey's KCRG News Radio.
- My own Powerbase: Montreal after my prey stole it (maybe). If the PB:M gets too hard to manage, it's a great way to cycle an Arson.
Final:
- My prey's early Zoo Hunting Ground before could use it. He told me that if he had had that hunting ground, he could have gone to time.
- My own Asylum Hunting Ground after Robert Goudie stole it cross-table, but before anybody got to use it. If the Malks couldn't have it, the Ventrue certainly couldn't either!
Since Robert Scythe was playing a blood denial deck with Free States Rants and Temptation, the hunting ground was actually a big deal.
