Ian, this deck is awesome. Nicely done. I love that no one can use PB:Madrid, and that you included a Walk of Flame. Why not throw in some Mummifies and just be explicit about things? I bet you could win with at least 5x Mummify in your deck. I always enjoy seeing this!

Walk of Flame is tech against Animalism and some unusual second round combat situations, like Immortal Grapple or Thrown Sewer Lid on the first round. It's not actually a joke ... just kind of pathetic since I always discarded it, just like I always discarded Clan Impersonation and Cardinal Benediction when I had them in hand.

Actually, Walk served a second purpose. Ideally, I discard it on the first turn of the game and confuse people as to how much combat the deck has, in general. Eyes of the Dead, as an example of an alternative use of that slot that would make more sense than Mummify, probably wouldn't have had the same impact.

Just seconding Ira: this deck is fantastic.

Ian disproves the lie that there are no more concepts to explore in VTES.

There are many ways to creative new decks, but first you sometimes have to push aside older, more familiar concepts. Here I guess the concept is titled vampires with pre/nec/aus.

I believe this is the first time Augustus Giovanni appears in a TWD, and the second time for Lille Haake (who has only appeared once, in a deck that included every CE Tremere).

I have been seeing a lot of TWDs that are not traditional Tier 1 decks. Is this the next wave of VTES?
