Shouldn't this be a Spanish NATIONAL qualifier? Even if you have some special dispensation to run whatever you are going to run, words mean things, and i believe that we should try to keep specific terms meaning specific things, otherwise the entire system falls apart.

Spanish Continental Qualifiers held in southern Spain traditionally have a lower participation. For instance, last year the one held in Granada (also in Andalusia) had 14 participants.
On the other hand, the list of pre-registered players for the Spanish Continental Qualifier held in Badía del Vallés (Catalonia, north-eastern Spain) has 45 players a week before this tournament.
However, the numbers for Spanish tournaments may be lower this year than last one. I'll give you the numbers and other statistics after the end of our tournament season.
