5 Swedes and 8 Danes made a decent crowd at this fourth tournament in the series. Some old school sleaze, but also some funky stuff including Valerius Maior / Chaundice flying wall, and !Brujah with Blood Brother Ambush… Prize for least mainstream deck went to Jonatan for his Shambling Hordes/Reanimated Corpse deck.
Final seating:
Kasper 1 GW 4 VP (Arika and friends) -> Michael 1 GW 4 VP (Assamite wall w Dimitri Borodin) -> Thomas 1 GW 4 VP (Edward Vignes and friends) -> Martin 1 GW 2 VP (Toreador G1 fatties with Aching Beauty) - > Christian 1 GW 4.5 VP (arms dealers w camera phones/concealed flash grenades)
Martin got Anson out and pulled of a Parity Shift in Turn 3, tapping Christian for 5 pool. Christian’s weenie Brujahs and arms dealers put heavy pressure on Kasper with Dream World bleeds in Turn 4, preventing Kasper from influencing out a support minion for Arika. Michael and Thomas built up while Martin manged to get Christian low on pool with two Aching Beatuties on Anson and Alexandra in play. The arms dealers came close to taking out Kasper, but in the end Martin managed to oust Christian first and Kasper fell shortly after to the Toreadors. Michael and Thomas joined forces against Martin in the end game. Anson was pentexed, and Martin was reduced to one pool, but recovered by playing Golconda on Anson. He finally managed to oust Michael before the game timed out.
Congratulations to Martin for the win!
