Winner: Otto Kukkasniemi
Amazing attendance again, we had same three guys over from Pori and Otto with them from Tampere. I personally love when people bother coming from longer to my tournaments and have good time. Otto also won the tournament with nasty Legionnaires, but I almost manage to oust him in the final, but not quite.
he can write his own bigger report and his deck list should also be posted here.
Sorry for it to take so long for me to write this, but work caught up with me
Finals seating was:
Juha Laukkanen (Anu Diptinatpa Summon History Legionnaires) -> Pauli Kiova (Shambling Hordes) -> Lauri Salmi (variation of Girls deck) -> Otto Kukkasniemi (Harbringer Legionaires) -> Jyri Puhakka (Carna Nephandus)

Archon question: I guess the "DQ" is a "WD"? Or is it no longer possible to make this difference?
Edit: I just read the story in another thread. Sad.

Where was this thread? I don't know what happened exactly (or the conditions that made him walk out) as I was playing in another table..

Yeah, deck is crazy.
It's god damn disgusting the amount of shenanigans you get to pull off.
Erlic into Nicomedes on rounds 2,3 and (maybe?? Can't recall. Much beer.) the finals gave me the head start I needed, what comes to hand tuning. Barrens allowed me to do some cycle+discard into a quick 7+Legionnaire into ash heap, and start going off if needed.
The ability to daisychain the legionnaires is really nice, it's like Khazar's but you actually get to go off. Giggidy.
What I *dont* consider very fair, is their ability to act on the turn they get recruited. That's pushing it.
As for the deck, apparently it's a bit of a mish-mash of cards that might be good. Felt a bit like it, too. The Spirits are kinda useless here, you end up straight up bleeding / recruiting something better nearly all the time. Stealth could use some adding, but it worked in this meta, so yay for me.
Disciple of Lazarus helped me get a playable crypt game 1, so good on that. Otherwise, it was a useless card.
I'm sure there's a few cards that'd be a welcome addition to this deck, but in general, more bleed, stealth and bounce is a good way to take it. I'd add some shenanigan cards too, Trochomancy seems to fit the bill with the amount of allies I saw over here, but it's more of a meta choice. Look at Lazarene Inquisitor there. It's trash, and it ain't good here, but there ARE games, where having that choice will win you the game. Otherwise, it doesn't suck when it gets Liquidated.
TLDR: Add stealth, bounce and bleed. Remove Vengeful Spirits. Lauri was nowhere near ousting me. cash me outside, howbow dah.

Mistake! They are not recruited. If they were, they would be affected by the "summoning sickness"
I for one, did not get to have a game in the final due to circumstances beyond my control. (Poor starting crypt and that Jyrkkä had the cards to screw that precise crypt, namely scourge). But I'm used to RNg deciding games in VTES by now. Thats why I don't take it so seriously anymore.
