In Finland we (apparently) have this thing called "V%&un moista nyhjäystä", which roughly translates to don´t worry don´t hurry, and this tournament was it. I don´t recall ever playing in a 3+F tournament in which only 1 wp in prelims and not getting ousted in final round was enough to win a tournament.
Maybe Esku would like to tell more about the deck and rounds?
