We had a great tournament last saturday with Austrian and Serbian guests to whom we are very grateful for coming!
There was generally little combat, with some exceptions like an aggressive V5 Brujah, and even a horrific Tupdog + Nephandi deck. Another meta curiosity of note was that there was no actual politics decks.
I myself played with a G2/3 obf retribution deck, and had some luck on the first round by being seated across the table from Richard Stefan and his animalism weenie bleed which made a crater of my Karl Schreckt predator, so I could basically sweep up the V5 Tzimisce and the ani bleed who were all weakened by constantly being in conflict.
Second round had me against Martin's V5 Banu Haqim, with Miloš and his anarch gangrel as my predator. Miloš looked like the greater threat, so I was also able to squeeze through, splitting the table with Miloš.
Third round was a sad affair, the whole table being just crushed by the Tupdog combat, but not before I managed to oust the V5 Banu Haqim from one of our newest players in Zagreb, Petar.
All of that enabled me to enter the finals as second seed behind Miloš, and the seating turned out to be a mirror match of our 2nd round, with the only addition of one of our local Baali (played by Roko) inserted as the predator of Nikica and his Malgorzata, Fanchon, Tremere deck.
The finale was tense, I made several risky moves that didn't pay off, and in the end Miloš managed to oust me and Martin (V5 Banu Haqim) for the 2,5VP.
All in all, great fun was had, with a great atmosphere, not the least beacuse the players arrived in a good mood on that nice spring morning.
Final table seating:
Anarch gangrel > G2/3 banu haqim retribution > V5 banu haqim > Huitzli Baali > Malgorzata, Fanchon, Tremere

Description:
Have as many cards chuckable to the Retribution as possible.
Focus the blood + no trace if blocked. We don't care about combat actually. There is no combat.
Yoruba shrine and hide the mind were the absolute MVPs, cancelling mostly auspex deflections, and slowing down rush actions.
