Congratulations to Eric for holding out in a brutal final round! Here is his tournament winning deck:

There was a lot of combat ability on the table, but it wasn't so brutal. The table happened to set up in one of those situations where it locks up. I will write more later.

Brandon already wrote up a report on his blog about preliminary rounds. The final was set up as follows.

Eric (imbued)--> Andy F (Torrance Circle)--> Jeff Y (Enkidu Car Dealership?)--> Robert Scythe (Nocturn Twins0--> Joel (Shambling Hordes)

Eric set up pretty fast. He brought out Travis pretty quick and used him to bring out others quickly. The table hate began pretty fast too. But we'll get to that later. Jeff seemed stuck with one gangrel! 7-cap. Robert was using shadow twin against jeff consistently every turn. Meanwhile, Joel was having trouble getting his deck going and was blocked a few times by Eric. I took an action hoping Eric would block. He did. His imbued went directly to torpor, did not pass go, did not collect 100$. Eventually the incapacitated was eaten after everyone was discussing getting rid of the imbued. Jeff rushed once or twice cross table after getting out Enkidu, but never really went forward or backward. Robert lurked silently and built up his legion. Joel never got his deck going. Eric learned his lesson and didn't block the Torrance Circle again. He just waited and bled for two at stealth with one or two minions a turn. I drew no rushes and pretty much was also ineffective after the first few turns. For some reason Eric stopped bleeding, maybe he knew more about Jeff's deck than I did. Then we were all low on pool and Robert (usually one of the more vocal players) had quietly built a ready region of 11 minions. It was now time for Robert to take the sweep. And then.......Timeout! Everyone gets .5 a VP. Props to Eric for playing it just right, I think he may have been able to get me and Jeff. But who knows!?!?!

Big Thanks to Brandon for organizing, Ian for bringing prize support, and to Eric, Andy, and Steve for hosting.
