Report back from the winner:
First Round: Table of 4
- Early alliance with my predator to deal with crosstable unnamed allowed me to cripple my prey by diablirising Lutz.
- I then helped my predator kill the unnamed that was being protected by 'Unleash Hell's Fury's'.
- My predator eventually fell, but Mata sent all the other minions on the board to torpor and claimed 3vp's and GW
2nd Round: Table of 4
- Tragedy! Accidentally transferred 9 pool onto an Anarch convert and by the time I brought out Matasuntha it was over.
- Eventually falling to a Death and Soul predator despite some help from my cross-table ally.
- Luckily it was a small tournament and I was already qualified for the final.
Final: 5 player
- Ministry platinum protocol > Brujah V5 > Path of inner voice > Matasuntha combat rush > Nosferatu toolbox
- Seating didn't really care where I sat, but luckily ministry were scared and tried to be as far from me as possible.
- Early clumping of combat rushes left me extremely vulnerable, I think if my predator had known I don't run any reactions I might have been out early.
- Luckily for me everyone focused on the 1st seed and table threat of the ministry which allowed me to un-clump my hand.
- By then the ministry ousted the Brujah and was onto my predator of the 'Path of Inner Voice and Power'
- A temporary ceasefire with my predator allowed Matasuntha to torporise a few of the Ministry; but this allowed my predator with a decent pool to stabilise and become a threat.
- I then decided to torporise both my predators vampires and then rescue one of the Ministry I had previously dunked to put more pressure on my predator. This was a mistake as a bait and switch from the Ministry and a couple of bleeds took out my predator.
- With the ministry on 2vp and a draw on the cards. (Which would have meant loss) I decided to go for it and trust in Matasuntha's multi-rush to try and end the game in one turn.
- I torporised my prey's remaining 2 vampires and bled for 6 with André le Roux equipped with a 'Codex of the Edenic Groundskeeper' to oust my prey.
- I then torporised 2 of the 3 remaining Ministry, which caused my opponent to concede.
