Dear all,

A few more words about that tournaments. It was great.
Many people tried to reach extra goals but only a few managed to do it!
Every path has been completed so every mission was possible.

18 players showed-up so Marc and Rémi played the first 2 rounds. 3 players couldn't stay to play the 3rd, at 4AM it is understandable so we both droped to keep only 5 players tables.

That was my first sanctioned tournament as a Prince here in Barcelona, and I really want to thanks every support for that great night!!

Here is a first short comment from Tomàs to Alfredo
Please thank Javier for his perfect timed Bleed against me!
I've not added more Inside Dirt because they are all I have. Next time I'll add 1 Fordward Momentum because I was a true luxury during the game it showed up.

Here is an automatic translation of Javier's Final Table Report:

Well, here’s my report from the final. Things started going wrong right from the seating: I was third, and I had to choose what I *didn’t* want as a predator—Arika or Rockcats.
I went with Living Manse, and I needed it badly. I wasn’t going to win the pool race, so I couldn’t afford to be Arika’s prey. Fine, then—I’d be the prey of the Tupdogs. With some Assabonsam and a few combat ends, maybe I could hold them off a bit. *Let’s hope he doesn’t come out too fast and maybe I can block a dog or two*, I thought.

Then Tomás (my dear Tomás) sits down with his little Nosferatu toolbox: *I bleed you and make you burn 3 pool*, Inside Dirt?, that kind of thing. And Alfredo shows up with Assamites, rifles, Second Traditions and rush—he becomes Tomás’s prey and predator of the Rockcats (Txiqui).

So I’m thinking: *If Alfredo’s Assamites and Txiqui’s Rockcats beat each other up a bit, and my prey doesn’t bloat too much, maybe I can do something.*
Tears of frustration were already running down my cheeks—the usual kind, when you know before the game even starts that you have no chance. But as long as there’s life, there’s hope.

Things quickly got worse. The Rockcat comes out fast and gets two dogs on the table immediately. To make matters worse, he puts Fame on me. Meanwhile, my prey is bloating like there’s no tomorrow and starts hammering Tomás’s tiny Nosferatu, who in turn pressures Alfredo so hard that Alfredo is forced to tap out and give the Rockcat a clear runway to destroy me.

Alfredo’s Assamite gets a rifle but turns it toward Tomás. The Rockcat can only go forward, and of course he goes straight for my famous Baron. Everything is falling apart: my prey has unreachable pool, Tomás is about to kill Alfredo, the Rockcat will then turn on Tomás and then on me. My prey Arika will get a VP, Tomás another, and Txiqui two. I’ll be gone.
*There’s no way out of this*, I think.

Well… time to break the table. What options do I have?

I bleed forward with Govern, which of course gets deflected. Tomás is stunned:
“What are you doing, man? You’re killing me!”
Yes, I knew. But Tomás was collateral damage.

I pass the turn, and Guillem’s Arika kills Tomás. That’s when I manage to strike a deal with Alfredo: Txiqui and Guillem will go down, and then he and I will fight it out.

Txiqui dies first—I wear him down, leave Fame in torpor, and answer a Heart. Finally, Txiqui is gone. Along the way, Arika gets diablerized by my vampires. Guillem thinks his bloat will keep him safe forever, but in three turns I end up with four vampires at +1 bleed each, and I take him down—with Alfredo’s help deflecting him (he had a hand clogged with deflections).

Guillem falls, and it’s just Alfredo and me. But he’s already too far ahead—20 pool. My only hope was to survive two turns and land two full-force bleed turns, but with 20 pool he had gained too much. Time is called, and Alfredo wins with 1.5 VP, I finish second with 1.5, and Guillem third with 1.

My hope was that Alfredo hadn’t gained so much pool with Anathema and Villeins, but I had to take the risk. I’m happy, honestly—out of zero options, I pulled off a second place and even had (very slim) chances to win at the end.

Poor Guillem and Tomás didn’t understand anything I was doing, but it was the only way to maximize my points and keep even the tiniest chance of winning alive. And you always have to fight for that.
