I like the dual purpose of the card that create a combat and help with defence.
The main problem is that it is extremely weak against obedience and S:CE. If the combat is cancelled, you just burn one pool for nothing. Then again, if you do destroy your opponent (and immortal grapple, disarm, burning wrath make it pretty doable), the effect is extremely good.
