I'm against making combat's life harder. I'd like to see effect of this card reversed:
Chasing shadows III
Combat
Only usable before strike resolution when the opposing minion has played 1 or less combat cards. Opposing minion controller may discard a combat card to cancel this card as it played.
obf: Prevent 1 damage later this round. Grapple cards has no effect this round.
OBF: Combat ends. Begin another combat with the opposing minion.
A boost against opponent with few S:CE. Makes non-celerity, non-potence combat decks more strong.
Variation: no "opposing minion has played 1 or less combat cards" text, so this card can be used defensively, exausting opposing minion off combat cards.
