Well, nobody can agree about whether MMPA, ashur tablet, or Lillith need drastic nerfs, but still it may be good to propose some card with a bit of polyvalency, if it can inspire someone.

Removing more easily card from ash heap is not a way I look forward, because it take significant time from the one who remove card, feel a bit unnatural, and hit needlessly some clearly non broken card.

Name: Heightened Attention
Cardtype: Event
Do not replace until a Methuselah use more than two master phase action.
Each time a Methuselah use a master phase action, he must burn a blood or life from one of its minion or negate the effect of the action.

In pure lore term, it mean that people are more attentive and seek for event that look like vampire activity (not unlike people hunt zombie-like event since the tragic event of the junkie who have eaten another people face), so Methuselah spend more ressources or act less.

* Against Lillith Blessing, it lower the power of Lillith without making it unuseable - after all, a master phase action for two blood is not the worse deal possible.

* Against MMPA and / or Ashur, the goal is to make them a bit less dominant in the endgame. Here, instead of making the plan of making the perfect deck less easy, the goal is to increase blood management problems, so by playing your ashur you hope to draw better card and have less risk of running out, but run the risk of having to hunt, or bloat less.

* the existence of the card may change a bit the blood management habit of decks, especially thoses master heavy. I hope it would make people villein for less, meaning less bloat and making game a bit speedier, but it's speculation.

* this deck tend to help decks with Smiling jack and/or blood denial, which does not need the buff in my opinion but aren't exactly ultra dominating either.

* in the same idea, it make Hungry Coyote and other way to refill your vampire more attracting, which they usually don't need.

* it make Life in the city suddenly a pretty bad card, which is sad, but Life in the city is not overall the most important played master.

Thought ?

You can solve all those 3 points by rewording to:

"Each time a Methuselah uses master phase action after the first one during that turn, he must burn two blood or life from one of its minion or cancel the effect of the action."

Not very interesting.
Anson adds a Papillon and can play his master cards. You planned nothing and get screwed.

Well, if the target deck can burn 1-2 blood more than you each turn and it doesn't weaken him enough so that you can gain the upper hand, you were really, really screwed.

To make a deck lose significantly more than that mean the card must screw MMPA about as hard as Scourge of the Enochean screw breeding deck. It does not seem a good idea.
