Non-Independent vampires get +1 strength while in combat with vampires of a different sect. Independent vampires get +1 strength while in combat with vampires of a different sect or clan. During your discard phase, remove a counter from this card. Burn this card if it has no counters.

What is my motivation for putting this card in my deck? I think it needs to be easier to make it part of a coherent strategy.

some possibilities:

Any Camarilla vampire may enter combat with a non-Camarilla vampire controlled by another methuselah as a action.
Sabbat vampires get +1 strength and an optional press in the first round while in combat with a non-Sabbat vampire.
Laibon vampires have +1 intercept while a non-Laibon vampire is acting.
Any methuselah who controls a ready Anarch and a ready non-Anarch vampire burns one pool during their untap phase.
