Submission - Favored One (versatile minion protection master card)

Name: Favored One
Cardtype: Master
Master.
While not in play, this card counts as a master: Discipline card. Put this card on a non-mortal minion you control, burn 1 pool and choose one: playing master cards on (or that targets) this minion costs other Methuselahs 2 additional pool; or contesting this minion cost other Methuselahs 1 additional pool (even when this card is out of play); or you may burn this card to cancel an effect that would change control of this ally.
Art notes: A vampire of overwhelming appearance surrounded by an aura of flames. The vampire has a brand made of light on his forehead.
World of Darkness reference: Through their blood, Methuselahs can grant lesser minions great capacities; their grasp on them is stronger.
Game references: Secure Haven, Democritus.
How does this card address a compelling game need?At the cost of a master slot, this card can be used to protect a key minion against other's Methuselah's threats. The first effect will make Pentex Subversion, Fame, Haven Uncovered, Temptation of Greater Power and Archon Investigation among others harder to play on the minion. The second effect will give the Methuselah an edge when his or her star vampire is contested. The last effect will mostly protect a key ally against theft.
Making it a discipline while not in play allow to get it with effects that search the library, ash heap or hand for disciplines (such as diablerie, Lilith's Blessing, Path of the Dead and the Soul etc.) while not being a real discipline (Alu won't get a blood etc.)

Why 'burn 1 pool and choose one' and not a pool cost of 1 ?
I am not sold about a card that make interacting with your minion less easy, especially when you can fetch it with Lillith, and especially when it affect mainly card that allow oust.
Still, making your minion a bit more resistant is not a bad idea per see. For example, it help relying on an unique ally easier, which is currently very risky.

Because you don't pay cost when fetching a discipline card through diablerie or with Lilith's Blessing. Why 'burn 1 pool and choose one' and not a pool cost of 1 ?

Once it is in play, how is anyone else going to keep track of which effect it is using?
