Team PCK would like to announce the name of our forthcoming Laibon-themed set:

I honestly dont keep up on your sets( i assume thwy are good, but i dont want to even subconsciously use concepts on your stuff as cards i may submit, so i currently try to not look) but just with the name,

Im glad to see references to Kindred of the Ebony Kingdom that arent common knowledge. Thats the one vtm suppliment i wish i coulda ran a game in with my old vtm playgroup ( one friends in prison, another died a few months back, and the other isnt much fun anymore...)

But kudos for (i hope and assume) using the real reference.

Since these cards are announced here, VEKN is free to put them to playtest, change them or even use them in official expansions, right?

They are not submitted( vekn has criteria for submission, its laid out as the criteria for submissiins, and is easily accessed. ) since neither set is submitted in the area for submissions, under a title "submission:" with card description, fluff reference, compelling game need, etc, they are not submitted.

The vekn has made it pretty clear that if you submit a card, thats how. Pck has been ( lets say adament) about thier cards not being altered and released in a state other than they want. Thus, they have 2 sets out they tested and developed as thier non-vekn sanctioned sets, released as such for others to enjoy as fan sets.

If they in the future want to submit cards, they know how to do so. They do not post things here as submissions, but to let the community know thier sets are out, as non vekn related batches of cards they have devoted thier timeto making for the community.

The vekn arent nazis saying a fan set is evil and trying to hide it, and its not released on here as a vekn set, so there is no ambiguation.

So, not submissions, thats why pck doesnt(im assuming) post it as jpgs on the forum, and its clearly not labled as submissions due to just being announced to exist and where to find it.

I hope that clarifies.

Oh, also, unlikely a laibon set would see cards in an indy set...... although the akunanse are gangrel, amd the gangrel have (very fortunately) been included in the vekns next set.

I understand what you are saying, put you are not (I think) from PCK.
Without their explicit declaration (or anyone else's, for that matter), I assume the following:
-Things posted here are constructive contributions for the VtES Community. All who post know this and try to do this, regardless of the methods they deem best.
-The VEKN organizes, manages and plans most of the important aspects of the Game, the Hobby and the Competition, in an open and democratic way where everyone has a say and can volunteer. This involves taking into account positive contributions.

If you don't want to contribute to the Community, fine.
But then don't use the Community's resources and visibility for your own private things.

Example: I post the following in the Description part of a deck.
"Lodin is so awesome. I can't believe some people still prefer !Ventrue.
Hello!!!! Even Hugh had the sense to see the Light.
Should we have a 7 cap Prince that has Blackhorse Tanner's special?"

Is this posted on the place for new ideas for cards? No.
Is the design team free to use this idea? Of course!
Why is this an issue?

If sabbat must have a Parity Shift we should definitively have a Prince with DOM FOR and Blackhorse Tanner's special.
Or Heart of Cheating, but with two cards instead of three, so it's not broken.
