The idea is (as always with mmpa hosers
) likeable but I have two (very minor) pieces of criticism :
- contrary to James I think it is very silverbulletty. If you want to play with extra discards you'll use PB:LA or other discard enablers instead of granting an additional DPS to everyone. So the only point to play it is to piss that guy that plays Anson or Girls -which is not particularly bad or unheard of in this game but still...
- even if MMPA decks are widely hated, do they deserve a card that completely shut down what they are built around (in other words : almost completely ruin their game) without being able to do anything about it (other than having Not to Be in hand at the right time or trying to oust the guy that played the event). I am not sure.
Also, that "non-trifle" clause should be "non-non Villein-trifle". Villein is a regular master disquised as a trifle after all

And you're forgetting The Uncoiling that burns events. Making it a Gehenna make it also sensitive to Fourth Cycle (and black hnad/ dem cards but they're not relevant in a MMPA deck).

It's not totally shut down, since it can still get back a card with Anthelios and play it the same turn.- even if MMPA decks are widely hated, do they deserve a card that completely shut down what they are built around (in other words : almost completely ruin their game) without being able to do anything about it (other than having Not to Be in hand at the right time or trying to oust the guy that played the event). Even with Anthelios, I think it is severely hindered. (too severely for the lack of exit options the affected decks will have)
Also, Uncoiling and 4th Cycle are unlikely since the MMPA deck will want to play Anthelios (or so I think)

I said that it's not a total silver bullet.

Yes, it screws a little MMPA decks. But MMPA decks are a bit against the spirit of the game, which is based on interactions between players (block/no block, vote for/against...). With Masters, there are no interaction without specific library cards (whereas actions can be blocked without library cards).

Hear my words: Uncoiling is a great card in many decks, even if you play yourself Anthelios. Also, Uncoiling and 4th Cycle are unlikely since the MMPA deck will want to play Anthelios (or so I think)
