[Submission] Rituals was created by Hakuron
Name: Ritual: ...

Cardtype: Master
Cost: 0 to 2 pool (depending on the power of the given Ritual)
Capacity: None
Discipline: None
Clan: None (or maybe one for each of the Laibon clans)
Requires a ready magaji. (additional requirements might be necessary)

Effect: Yet to be created. Maybe someone likes to pick up my idea and go into details.

Flavor text: Yet to be found.

Art notes: Should of course be related to shamanism/voodoo.

World of Darkness reference: I don't know.

How does this card address a compelling game need?
Magaji are by now quite week in comparison to princes and archbishops. The idea is to enhance their powers, by a group of cards similar to the Watchtower: XY cards for the Seraphs. Rituals appear to be the right theme.

As a suggestion....

Ori Sight (v1)

Cardtype: Master
Cost: 2 pool
Requirements: any Laibon magaji.

Effect: This vampire gains +1 intercept and may burn one blood before your discard phase to untap once each turn. Burn this card if this vampire goes to torpor.

Flavor text: ???

Art notes: As per ritual describe - missing eye, blue glow etc.

World of Darkness reference: Ori Sight .

I don't think "Ritual" is the appropriate keyword that would be appropriate. "Ritual" in White Wolf lore references any blood magic ability outside of the paths.

The "Watchtower" cards in VtES probably have more to do with the Watch Commander rank in the Black Hand than the concepts of the Watchtowers in Mage: the Ascension.

That said, looking at the rituals of Wanga as chrisn101 mentioned is probably a good place to look for inspiration.

I'm not sure what you would call these cards. Looking at whitewolf.wikia.com/wiki/Wanga you could call it one of the categories under "tools" on that page.

Personally, I think "Gris-gris" (or "Wanga") or "Peristyle" work in that respect.

Or possibly, you could call them "Loa: ..." referring to the Loa spirits called on by the rituals.

:tore: :pre: :tem: :aus: Independent Futurist. Contrarian (titled, X votes where X is the number of votes as the acting minion.) Target Vitals is always the better combat card.

Interesting. Just spitballing:

Loa: Papa Legba
1 pool
Laibon magaji you control gain +1 intercept. Other minions have -1 intercept when attempting to block. Burn this card if another Loans comes into play.

(Or maybe free version 'burn all counters on this card and add a counter for each Magaji you control each untap. Burn one a counter to give a Laibon magaji one intercept or one stealth').

Combined with No Secrets from the Magaji (which is already a very solid card), that would be quite unpleasant.

This should really start from a position of "What do the Magaji need?" and "What would make the Magaji more fun?", bearing in mind the solid bits of tech that the Magaji and Laibon have access to.
