Legacy

+2 stealth action. Requires an unmerged advanced vampire.
Untap this acting vampire and search your crypt, uncontrolled region, or ash heap for his or her base version to move to him or her. Shuffle your crypt afterward.
Flavor text: "Look back, and smile on past perils." - Walter Scott
Art notes: The scene is the den or parlour of a mansion. An older, wealthy vampire is sitting contemplatively in an overstuffed leather chair, sipping at his or her goblet of blood. Behind the vampire along the walls are a bookcase filled with old books, pedestals with fine pottery and sculpture, and/or plaques and accolades. Dominating the objects along the wall is a portrait of the vampire's slightly younger self.
World of Darkness reference: Nothing from the World of Darkness, but the card idea uses Epiphany as a card text precedent.
How does this card address a compelling game need?: People sure seem to want easier ways to merge vampires. Epiphany merges from base to Advanced, so let's try merging from Advanced to base. Burn option makes it potentially more cyclable in case you want to casually merge rather than have the deck be dedicated towards it.

That looks quite good to me, the burn option really helps since its much harder to cycle in the same way Epiphany can be, and its especially helpful for those vampires where the advanced version is better than the base one.

suuuuuure you didn't.
Add an untap clause and it's playable.
Independent Futurist. Contrarian (titled, X votes where X is the number of votes as the acting minion.) Target Vitals is always the better combat card.
