Need: more non slave gargoyles. Very big need, they are barely a thing outside of Tupdog.
Fluff: Lumas one of the original"hatched" gargoyles. They can reproduce sexually. She's a sought after mate, apparently. To me, that means "free babies" for a crypt card.
Merged..... Wanted to keep her 5 cap, needed a reason to ever look atbasic vversion again, came up with this.

I'm just noting that the vampire you're proposing effectively has 5.5-6 discipline levels (depending on your feelings on flight), a special ability, and no downsides. This would make her the very most efficient 5 cap ever. I'm also not sure how much I like having special abilities that are so focused (as in "only play me in one type of deck, but in that deck, I'm hyper-efficient"). Just my two cents. I like getting extra disciplines in exchange for merging.

Special isn't great, given its just the one kind of bug, so you at best get one vamp that can gain flght and barely has a usable discipline. Its not a free Tuminos, its still a gargoyle. Right now, garolgoyles suck so bad, that special balances being the 4th non slave gargoyle in G2. It has to get an actulion off, with the card, to matter.

Flight...... Under supported. Gargoyles suck, one tzimitsce and the kikiyoan aren't breaking it. As the crow shines, swoop is neat, pounce is cool, patrol is borderline playable..... I think I used Soar in my voting grotesques deck. Anyway, she loses slave, gains something that if you build a deck around it, you still can't win.
Here I was thinking it wasn't strong at all. I just built a support vamp out of a g2 slave.

I like the idea of advancing existing Gargoyles, but in the upcoming set, I would rather see Gargoyle choices expanded. Especially group 5/6 desperately needs vamps. Group 2 would already aided with a slave cancel card.

After the slave revolt, a lot of Gargoyles flocked to Paris, perhaps a Parisian angle for new group 5/6 independent Gargoyles.

My issue is its easier to build around vamps than hope to draw a library card. Feels like building amaranth taste of death around alumut
