It gives ousting power to Toreador combat deck, or is useful as a throwaway blocker. In either case you can burn for it for lunge.

I'd probably tweak the name to something like "Gossip Columnist" (or "Society Columnist", for Toreador sensibilities) or "Tabloid Journalist" and - being unique - I'd probably give it an actual name. "Bobby McBobson, Tabloid Journalist" or whatever.

For clarity, textually I'd tweak it to "...is sent to torpor, the vampire's controller burns..." or something like that. In the general case, the vampire and the Fame have two different controllers, and so it's simpler to avoid discussions over which one is meant.

In terms of power, I'd suggest giving it something of a kick. If you only get one Fame out with it, the only real boost it gets you over just having swapped it in your library is the one extra pool. And if you had swapped it out for another copy of Fame, you could play that copy. And most decks using Fame successfully only include 1, maybe 2 copies to start with.

The burn-for-bleed is neat, but mostly balances out with the fact that you had to take an action in the first place to recruit it. So I'd be looking at something that makes it better. Perhaps "When you play Fame, it is a trifle" or "Bobby McBobson can move Fame from your ash heap to the top of your library as a +1 stealth action; shuffle the top 10 cards of your library afterwards if successful." Or maybe even just give it 1 bleed, rather than 0 bleed.
