Name: The Path of Mortis
Cardtype: Master
Cost: 1 pool
Capacity: Not applicable
Discipline: Not applicable
Clan: Harbinger of Skulls
Unique master.
Put this card in play. Cards that require Necromancy [nec] cost Harbingers of Skulls 1 less blood. Any minion may burn this card as a (D) action; if that minion is a vampire, he or she takes 1 unpreventable damage when this card is burned.

Flavor text: Not applicable.

Art notes: An ancient skull with smoke swirling around it. The smoke has faces, like souls screaming.

World of Darkness reference: whitewolf.wikia.com/wiki/Harbingers_of_Skulls

How does this card address a compelling game need?: There are currently 43 library cards that require Necromancy, and 22 of them have a blood cost associated with them. As the "masters of necromancy", it seems only fitting that they should have this card.

In the 20th Anniversary Edition of V:tM, Mortis was merged into Necromancy, with Path of the Grave's Decay, the Path of the Corpse In the Monster, and the Path of the Four Humors to represent it. This replaces The Mortuus Path from Guide to the Sabbat (and I think Dark Ages).

I agree in principle with finding a way to represent the Harbingers as being masters of Necromancy (and Mortis). I'm not sure if I like simply copying Path of Bone, but I've also struggled with coming up with something that's different enough yet also works well enough.
