I appreciate that BCP has taken an interest in creating advanced versions of sucky or sub-par group 1 vampires. I think there is still plenty to do on this front. In the interest of getting flamed.. that is providing ideas for discussion, here's the first of what may be a few card ideas for this thread: Democritus Adv
Ever notice the "Justicar disease" and how it limits several justicars from group one? No more! Whether you want to play the fiesty anarchs sporting cel/for (among other things) or just upgrade your tired old Jyhad crypt, Democritus Adv has something to offer for you!

Here's a few more. There are lots of weak Primogen in group one that would often be better as anarchs.

I don't know about the Justicars disease. Annake, Ulug Beg, Lucian and Sheldon are just fine.
Don Cruez could perhaps get a level of protean more to get the multi-act going, so adv version with no title and 1 extra level of discipline, with maybe +1 bleed as merge text.
Democritus really hurts for not having superior for, but what I really want to do is to play with his special. Perhaps something like:
Democritus, ADV
cel, aus, FOR, DOM, PRE
Camarilla Venrue Justicar: As a +1 stealth action Democritus may search your library or crypt for a unique card another methuselah has in play, put that card in your hand or uncontrolled region as approriate, suffle and discard down to your handsize if library card was chosen.
Angus as Democritus, is hurting in the multiacting department and I also want to play with his cool name.
Angus the Unruled, ADV
ANI, CEL, FOR, POT, PRO
Camarilla. Mind Rape, Blood Bond, Oath and Pentex Subversion can not be played on Angus.

Some g1 Primogen
Anvil is fine point wise, I just want to play him as an Anarch. So out of the box Anarch, no merge text.
Elliot Sinclair, Virtuoso Thespian. 7 cap with 4 points worh of disciplines, urgh. I had to check dictonary to see what his descriptive name means. The guy is basically a drama queen, someone who acts annoyingly dramatic, if you interact with him...hmm I want to play with that.
Elliot Sinclair, Virtioso Thespian, ADV
aus, obf, CEL, PRE
Camarilla. Any minion blocking or being blocked by Elliot burns 1 blood before combat if any. If Elliot becomes Anarch, each titled Camarilla vampire burns 2 blood.
Merged: Anarch. +1 intercept.
Sylvester Simms. 8 cap with no multi acting potential and very iffy special, so let's give him a level of for. Giving level of dem to Malkavian that don't have any seems to be a thing, so we do that also. We now have a guy with lots of disciplines, but nothing very special so lets make him anarch as merged text.
Sylvester Simms, ADV
ani, dem, dom, for, pre, AUS, OBF
Camarilla.
Merged: Anarch.
Alternatively, we could drop the dem, and give him for and anarch as advanced with no merge text.

G2 has two horribly under costed cap 6 primogen, Judah and Nakova, but I have no idea how to even start making them playable.
Then there is Elisabetta Romano, who is crying to play CrimeTheInc and Steely Tenacity and should be given a level of discipline and anarch status. I have trouble thinking a version that would not simply overshadow her base version. This is troublesome as my take on advanced vampires is that they should either provide an interesting alternative or have some nice synergy with their base, not simply be better versions.

IMO the strategy for designing advanced versions of really bad vampires could be to make their unmerged good, not great, but the merged very good.
**Edit: Or, make the advanced and merged do things that are very different (see the ones I made above)
