How big of an advantage is first seed

I wonder if tournament size might also affect how important seeding is. in a smaller tournament, of course you're more likely to know what types of decks the other 4 finalists are playing. plus it's common for someone to enter the finals with 1 lucky GW, or even 0. not that that necessarily means a bad deck/player.

if you win you can do what you want with any prizes of course - you just can't deliberately play to lose to help someone else win to get their prizes.
