Mitigating Bleed Heavy decks in a 3 player game was created by Lankweird
Hi all,
Unfortunately, my friends and I are limited to only playing with three players (not ideal, I know). One of the things we massively struggle with are high bleed decks (Ravnos tor Malks with Govern + Conditioning).
Not sure if any others out there have made any house rules to mitigate the accelerated ousts that can happen with these high bleed decks.
Something we've been talking about is limiting bleeds to a max of 2 per bleed for the first hour of the game - We play 2 hour time-boxed games, with the caveat that minions who have a +2 bleed can still bleed for that amount.
Any others out there use anything similar?
Thanks in advance!

Since in this environment "meta" is easy to control, it's easy to create environment that is barely playable for heavy bleed decks: play combat decks (Banu Haqim, potence, aggro + Rotschreck and/or Amaranth, etc.), wall decks or - if you can't block - simply put plenty of Archon Investigations and / or bleed reductions (Protected District and such) in your decks. If you're non-bleeder yourself, consider Protected Resources. Bleed redirections, on the other hand, will probably not be the best answer here, as you will end up in a race with your non-bleeding colleague on who puts more in the deck.

If you're already considering this as an option, another option is to just have a meta agreement about what decks you're bringing to the table. For instance, my group has a general policy that we don't play Tupdog decks in our usual games.
