My Report of the great French Draft Championship 2025

Dear all,

First of all: thank Christophe, Vincent and the rest of the Development team of that Box and for running that great event helping a lot every traveling player like me!

Deck Name: Remi's French Championships Draft 2025 decklist
Description:
I first pick cards that allows Pool Recovery, then cards deals Pool damage and filled the deck with Combat.
I haven't seen any easy to use reaction cards so I have not picked any.

My Tournament Report:
Round 1
-> Vincent Ripolls, the expert Biker with Malkavian with Moto, many Jackets and a Gun > Toreador > Brujah Anarch > Me > Tremere
I made various mistakes, the worst were not my Predator first vampire: Ellen. I would have lost only 1 Pool per turn and not received bleed for 2 each turn.

Round 2
Perrine with Mithas deck > Me > Brujah with Theo Bell > Thomas Langaret with Banu Haquim & Theo Bell > Alex "I use "First Blood" Gangrel in the Draft event

Perrine started as 1 player and influenced 1, she grab a new vampire during her next 2 influence phases and then Mithras appeared 3 turns later.
Alex got "Thing"s and other great cards so he started bleeding.
I got my Makavian Baron and Ventrue Prince early and felt quite unconfortable seeing Perrine's pool going low.
My prey started his game contesting Theo Bell to his own Prey and got a Brujah Baron.
Thomas managed to get a Prince Banu Haquim and my worst nightmare came to reality. I rushed my future Predator's Bleed +1 Gangrel vampire. Alexa went with Cryptic Mission and Roundhouse. My ennemy's reponse was aggravated damage & prevent.
My Prey then came to eat my vampire... I should never trust even your own Ventrue vampires, neither should you, I swear!
The great news was that this Brujah Baron burnt after a large Bloodhunt debate.
A few moments later, I ousted my Prey were ousted thanks to a deal made with Alex. I rushed his Famous Vampire and the plan was to start making the misere to Thomas. I got the VP but the rest of the plans was not able to happen.

Round 3 aka the fast and furious round
Paul aka "Bleed for 4 with obfuscate" > me > Kudz with Ministry bleed > Nicolas Brujah Combat

I started 4th, it was good for me even if my predador first vampire was a 7 Capacity Vampire with +1 bleed.
It changed with their first action: Pulse of the Canaille. Since the next turn, I received Bleed for 4 each turn. My option was to put into play my +1 Bleed Nosferatu Vampire, they enterd play and I felt better.
Next turn, my predator contested that Nosferatu. Even if it sounds like Paul got very lucky, he had a great deck and playing style.
The lightening action of Theo Bell with Heroic Might was burning a Ministry vampire with Decapitate. Nicolas received the corresponding applause, of course.

Final Round:
1st Seed: Thomas Langaret (my Round 2 winner)
2nd Seed: Kamel (more than veteran player)
3rd Seed: Frédéric Pin (You've seen him playing every final of tournaments he played for around one year)
4th Seed: Lionel Lorand
5th Seed: Paul (my Round 3 winner)

From Khan Jugar, we recommand a few things:
- Pick Pool Recovery
- Pick Pool Damage
- Pick Defense cards, Special Report is a Winning Card in Draft events... even you have never used it in other decklists.
- Contesting vampires is a true silver bullet. Think about it as a strong strategy, not as a obvious failing one like Rémi did during the 1st Round.

If anyone could post the Final Round decklists, I thinks this could be great to motivate even more people to know what the kind of decks that are available when you have experience in that sector.
