It is readily readable, stylish and clear. And most certainly the letters aren't too close to one another.

Exactly, they're deliberately close together — that's the point. Besides, it's also why the text is planted firmly below it.

A good example is adidas with three stripes and the name of the brand. You can use the three strips seperately and its still recognised as adidas. But when necessary the symbol can be combined with the logotype.

we still can use trisnake logo (cause is not forbidden, restricted or smth and it's similar to vtes) mixed with VEKN word. Some graphics should dropinto my mailbox tomorrow

Also if you happen to have problems deciphering really rather clearly laid out letters you shouldn't expect everyone else having the same problem. Then again you could say the reverse for me...

I usually have a hard time deciphering graffitti style texts but this is a far cry from them.

That's the problem, I am a bit baffled you don't see how people can be confused, especially if they don't know it's VEKN beforehand. They are definitely not clearly laid out at all ; it's more a quirky and hard to read police.
