New VEKN Chairman and EC 2014 Location

Today it was (informally) announced that Johannes Walch is stepping down as VEKN Chairman. Ginés Quiñonero (Spain) will be his successor.

It was also announced right before the Day 2 tournament of the EC 2013, that the EC 2014 will be taking place in Mannheim, Germany (southwest of Frankfurt a.M.) in Germany (in/around October).

I guess there will an official announcement by the VEKN later this week.

Congratulations to Giñes, an success on this new era. Thanks to Johannes for the time dedicated.
And next year we probably will participate on the EC2014!!

We can do what we did this year:

Qualifier the week before, so people passing over the Atlantic can have a few days of VtES and tourism in Lisbon.

For you, you would most likely fly TAP until Lisbon and Lufthansa to Frankfurt, so you're bound to pass by here anyways...

We can get places for people to stay for free.

That is nice Tiago, we can plan that!

We have Lufthansa direct to Frankfurt, but probably we will have 30 days vacation, so we pass on Portugal for sure!
