I should be attending this event. Anyone else in the state or in the area should come as well. I hear rumor of at least one individual coming out of torpor for the event. And with any luck there will be more than 10 players.

Had 26 people show for the event today! Congrats to Brad Cashdollar for winning playing his nosey Toreadors that shoot people ... a lot. Look for a report on the event at Merlin's blog: merlin-throne.blogspot.com/

Thanks for hosting, Rob! This event showed a drastic improvement in my tournament play, as I was not ousted first from either of my games. I still didn't get any VPs, of course, but baby steps were taken!
Game 1 I sat between Malkavian Bleed decks, game 2 I sat between Brad (my predator) and had The Girls for my Prey. I was playing Amaravati/Olugbenga stealth bleed/vote. My favorite moment was when I had A WoKR with one blood and an Alamut in play, with Olu burned via Archon Investigation and Layla bint-Nadr in torpor. My pred had Anneke and Marcellus with 2 44's each and prey had 2 fatties and Cybele on the way.
I just imagine that new recruit running up an down the halls of Alamut going "...guys? Hey where is everybody?" Then I took a bounced bleed for 7 at three stealth and had my Nest of Eagles canceled.
Good times.
Grats to Brad. Sitting next to his deck was aggravating while I was at the table, but after watching it play out the rest of game after my departure I could only be impressed. Solid deck and an excellent player.
I suggest a new strategy...let the Wookie win.
