This is steering dangerously off-topic, but from what I understand, WotC did offer to renew the license.

At Ropecon I found, and was momentarily puzzled, by a MtG card named Taste of Vitae.

There's also Lost in the Mist, which sounds a bit like Lost in Crowds.
