Then what type of card location in play is? And what about master card locations, they are not master card type?

Ask yourself: do you retrieve the Ankara Citadel when you diablerize the vampire it is on? (answer is: "no" [LSJ 20030607] )
Can you transfer locations with Heidelberg Castle? (answer is: "no" [LSJ 20020411] ).
