Say an acting Tammy Walenski (

) has a
skill card and is in combat with her prey's random vamp.
Tammy: No pre-range.
Random vamp: Same.
Tammy: No maneuvers.
Random vamp: Same.
Tammy: Immortal Grapple, Burning Wrath.
Random vamp: Hands for 1.
** At this point, can Tammy play Amaranth then Soul Stealing (thereby gaining lots of blood) ?
Amaranth
Only usable by a vampire who can commit diablerie. Only usable when the opposing vampire should go to torpor. Diablerize the opposing vampire instead. Not usable by a vampire being burned or going to torpor.
Soul Stealing
Only usable when a vampire you control burns a vampire controlled by your prey.

This vampire gains an amount of blood equal to half of the burned vampire's capacity (round down). Ignore excess blood.

As above, but usable in combat.
In other words, is diablerie also considered "burning a vampire"?

Yes (example of the right timing window here: [LSJ 20090201] ), and yes ( Rulebook 6.5.5.3 : "The victim is burned (sent to his owner's ash heap). Any cards and counters on him are also burned.").Say an acting Tammy Walenski (

Assuming, of course, that Random vamp does not prevent the damage.
Thanks.
Thanks.

And that the strike would send the opposing vampire to torpor (prerequisite for playing Amaranth).Assuming, of course, that Random vamp does not prevent the damage.
