Does the action cancelation of Yoruba give or not give NRA taint?
It says make the action fail, and it also says as the action is announced, thus I think no NRA taint should apply

Answered you on JOL while you were writing this up. Yoruba Shrine's card text states that the action fails. Therefore the action has been taken, and therefore cannot be repeated by the acting minion.

Contrast with Direct Intervention, et al. which cancel the action.

Yep, Yoruba Shrine says "fail" not "cancel" so its tainted by NRA.
