Can a Grotesque be influenced out if you control no locations? I would suggest yes, but again IANPB.
Grotesque
Clan: Gargoyle (group 6)
Capacity: 3
Disciplines: for pot vis
Camarilla. Tremere slave: Non-unique. When played, choose a location you control not chosen for a Grotesque. Remove this Grotesque from the game if you no longer control the location. Flight [FLIGHT].

I'm not sure how you get 'no' from that link.the answer is no

So yes you can influence it out, but it will then disappear. The Grotesque enters play. You fail to choose a location. The Grotesque
removes itself from the game.

Correct, you can put 3 counters on Grotesque. Once this is done, at the end of the influence phase, Grotesque enters play, and is removed from the game, per that link acbishop and you quote.
