That would make the cards unique, I suppose, and affect the contest of the titles (you would have to pay 1 pool to stay in the contest of the unique card, and 1 blood to stay in the title contest). I'm not sure this is the intent, but it's a side effect.

Definitely not an intent. I guess letting the card text (rather than any card trait) handle the contest is better for titles.
