A and B are in combat. A has 0 blood, B has 2 blood.
* A's strike is superior Theft of Vitae. B's strike is a handstrike.
We resolve Theft of Vitae before dealing with the damage, so A can play Rolling with the Punches (costs 1 blood) or Skin of Rock (costs 0 blood).
B cannot play prevention cards, since there B has no damage to prevent.
* A plays Carrion Crows and strikes with Theft of Vitae. B's strike is a handstrike.
We first resolve Theft of Vitae (A now has 2 blood, B has no blood). B can play Skin of Rock (costs 0 blood), but not Armor of Vitality (costs 1 blood) to prevent the damage from Carrion Crows.

How about situation like next:
Vampire A has 0 blood, vampire B has 3.
Vampire A uses Theft of Vitae at superior, B strikes hand strike with str 3. A wants to prevent that damage with superior Rego Modus (costs 1 blood), can he do it?
In other owrds, when does he get the blood, compared to when he plays the prevent card.
